Emotional Health

Our emotional health is determined by resolved or unresolved emotional memory.

Emotional health can be seen in balanced or imbalanced emotional expressions. Emotions help us express our feelings and understand others better. We too often express our emotions from past memory without awareness. Anger, hatred, non-forgiveness, living in shame, not being grateful, and being focused on greed and fears hinder our ability to heal and live in peace. We become overwhelmed with life and react to the most non-threatening circumstances. We resist peace and align with struggle.

We live in peace and balanced health when we heal our emotions. Healing our emotions starts with awareness of our emotions and the unresolved memory that needs to be balanced. Healing our emotions brings peace to our being, our close relationships, and extends peace into the collective. Too many of us live disconnected from the truth of our being and live through activated emotions from past trauma and other memory. If we are not in peace, then we are in struggle and are suffering. We can heal our health and our lives by starting with awareness. We can live in balance and in peace.

ACE Study

The emotional memories of our past can lead to serious health concerns. From 1995 to 1997, Kaiser Permanente and the CDC collaborated on the infamous Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) Study.1 There were 17,337 participants in the study. The goal was to determine if traumatizing events in childhood led to health concerns later in life. They found that when trauma gets activated, it can lead to many diseases, including chronic lung, heart, and autoimmune diseases and cancer, as well as struggles with addiction. We heal our physical bodies when we transform our emotional pain.
